Detailed itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival at Cochin – Munnar

Arrive at Ernakulam Railway Station. Start your journey to and start your journey to Munnar (140 kms / 4.5 hrs) – the most famous hill station situated on the Western Ghats. Enroute see Cheeyappara, Valara waterfalls and Karadipara View Point. Arrive and check into the hotel. Rest of the day at Leisure. Overnight at hotel

Day 2: : Munnar  Local Sightseeing

After breakfast proceed for Munnar sightseeing. Visit the Mattupetty dam, Echo point and the Kundala Lake. Boating facilities are available at Mattupetty Dam and Kundala Lake. Later visit a tea factory and tea museum. Afternoon visit Eravikulam National Park which is also known as Rajamala, the natural habitat of Nilgiri Thar. Nilgiri Thar can be observed very closely. Evening free for shopping. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Munnar to Thekkady 

After early breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Thekkady. Enroute stop at Tea Garden Photo point near Munnar and Spice Plantation near Thekkady. Thekkady is considered a heaven for natural spices. On arrival, check-in at your hotel. The main attraction is boating on the lake. Boating will take approximate 2 hours. In the evening, you can watch martial arts, kathakali show, or go to an elephant farm for an Elephant ride or can go for ayurveda massages (all on direct payment basis). Evening you may visit local shops for buying spices. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 4: Thekkady to Alleppey and Day Cruise on the Backwaters

After early breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Alleppey. Alleppey is the Venice of the East; is famous for its boat races, backwater holidays, beaches, marine products and coir industry. On arrival, check into hotel and spend the day at leisure. Enjoy  Day cruise on the backwaters. Explore the beauty of backwaters. Stay overnight in Hotel or Houseboat. 

Day 5: Alleppey to Cochin drop

After breakfast check out from hotel and then drop at Ernakulam station for departure. 

Tour ends with Happy Memories
