Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Hanoi – Water Puppet Show with Dinner:

Upon arrival at Noi Bai airport, you are warmly welcomed by our Tour guide and transferred to your hotel in Hanoi capital. Be free and relax after a long journey. This evening you will attend a Water Puppet Show at Thang Long Theatre and enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi. Private transfer to Holte. Shared transfer for water puppet show. Dinner not included

Day 2: Full Day Hanoi City Tour:

             After breakfast, Pick-up at your hotel by the guide and diver. This morning we will visit Ho Chi Minh Complex, inclusive of his Mausoleum, the house-on-stilts, the quaint One-Pillar pagoda nearby, and Quan Thanh Taoist Temple. Afternoon will be saved for the visits to the exciting East part of the city including Museum of History, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, „The Huc‟ Bridge. The Show of Water Puppetry, a stage art invented by the Vietnamese peasants hundred years ago, with nearly 20 stories of Vietnam traditions and daily scenes will be the last activity. Transfer from and return on Private basis. Local Lunch included.

Day 3: Full Day Tour of Halong Bay:

             Early departure for Halong Bay, a World Heritage as designated by Unesco in 1994 with nearly 3,000 rocky islets. The drive may take you more than three to four hours utmost depending on the high or low seasons‟ traffic, and will pass the Red River Delta, one of the two granaries of Vietnam. Upon arriving in Halong, we will sail our boat round its natural rocky gardens whilst a tasty seafood lunch is waiting on board. Most of the islets here are not for living due to the lack of fresh water, but are excellent for cruising to contemplate their miraculous draws on the horizon. Many of them have great names from their inspirational shapes, including the Surprising cave, Pelican Grotto, Chopstick rock, Butterfly rock, Turtle rock, the island of Fishman‟s Head, the Fighting Cocks, the Sail, the Urn, or the Sea Dog! We can wander to visit grottos, so swimming, or just lazily relax on the sundeck with our drinks. The boat will be back to the Wharf late afternoon where we take our car or coach to return to Hanoi. Trip finished at your hotel in Hanoi. Transfer from and return on Sharing basis. Local lunch included.

Day 4: Transfer from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City:

After breakfast, check-out from your hotel. Later in the day you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight to Ho Chi Minh City to continue your tour. Transfer to and from airport. Upon your arrival at Ho Chi Minh City, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is free for you to explore Ho Chi Minh on your own. Day 5: Full Day Ho Chi Minh City Tour with Cu Chi Tunnels:

Start the tour from the Post Office in colonial-style and the Notre Dame Cathedral. Go on to visit Thien Hau pagoda and a specific section that does not exist in any other city of Vietnam – a bustling China Town, where every board is in two languages: Chinese and Vietnamese, and so is the communication of the inhabitants. In the center of this exciting area is a grandiose market: “Cho Lon”, i.e. The Big Market. A lot of Chinese living in this quarter have obtained great trading success with their know-how, wisdom and dynamic. After lunch in Saigon, head northwest to Cu Chi Tunnels, one of the very few remaining monuments to the Vietnam War. 200km of tunnels, dug by hand and inhabited by the forces of the Vietnamese guerillas during the conflicts, are beneath the ground in Cu Chi. At its peak, prior to the Tet Offensive in 1968, the tunnel complex was a base to almost 10,000 troops. To this day, it remains one of the most impressive examples of how fierce the War was. Return to Saigon in late afternoon. Breakfast and Lunch included. With transfer to and from hotel on private basis

Day 6: Full Day Mekong Delta Tour:

In the morning, after breakfast we will pick you up in the hotel lobby and transfer to the Mekong Delta, the 12th longest river in the world. Firstly, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, one of the most beautiful and famous landmarks in the region. Take a boat trip along the small canals to explore peaceful villages on the riversides. Visit fruit garden, taste local fruits, drink homemade honey tea, listen to Don Ca Tai Tu (southern folk music, recognized as UNESCO‟s Intangible Cultural Heritage). Have a short horse ride around the village to go deeper to the local lifestyle. Have lunch in a local garden restaurant before going back Ho Chi Minh City on late afternoon. Day 7: Departure:

After breakfast at the hotel, we check-out. You’ll have leisure time before check-out (normal check-out time is 12.00) or your flight back home. We’ll transfer you to the airport for your departure flight back home. Transfer to Airport on Private basis
