Itinerary
Arrive at Cochin Airport. Meet our representative & start your journey to Munnar (140 kms/4.5 hrs) - the most famous hill station on the Western Ghats. Enroute see Cheeyappara, Valara water falls and Karadipara View Point, Spice plantations, Rubber Plantations etc. Arrive and check into the hotel. Rest of the day at Leisure. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast proceed for Munnar sightseeing. Morning visit the Mattupetty dam, Echo point and the Kundala Lake, where Boating facilities are available. Later visit tea factory and tea museum. Afternoon visit Eravikulam National Park which is also known as Rajamala, the natural habitat of Nilgiri Thar. Evening free for shopping. Overnight at hotel. Â
After breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Thekkady. Enroute, you can stop at the Munnar Tea Plantation photo point for some memorable photos. Arrive and check-in at your hotel. Afternoon you have an option to visit a Spice Plantation and an elephant farm for an elephant ride. Evening you may visit local shops for buying spices and Ayurvedic Oils and medicines. Overnight stay at Hotel.
After breakfast proceed for Thekkady local sightseeing. The main attraction is boating on the lake and the Mullai Periyar Dam. Boating will take approximately 2 hours. In the evening, you can watch martial arts, kathakali show or can go for ayurveda massages (all on direct payment basis). Overnight stay at Hotel.
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Alleppey. Alleppey - the Venice of the East; is famous for its boat races, backwater holidays, beaches, marine products and coir industry. On arrival, check into Hotel. You can go for a sunset cruise of the backwaters (arranged at the resort at 3.00 pm). Rest of the day will be at leisure. Stay overnight in Hotel.
After Breakfast, check out from hotel & proceed to Kovalam. Enroute cover sightseeing at Trivandrum. Visit Sree Padmanabha Swami Temple (ethnic wear compulsory), Kuthiramalika Palace, Napier museum, zoological park, science and technology museum (depending on time in hand). On arrival at Kovalam, check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Kovalam.
After early breakfast start your day trip to Kanyakumari. On reaching, visit the Swami Vivekanand Memorial and the Kanyakumari Temple. Indulge in some local shopping. Enjoy the sunset and drive back to Kovalam for Overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drop at Trivandrum Airport for departure.
